Set amidst the backdrop of tall pines and shade trees, Bethel Cemetery is a peaceful and picturesque location.

Dating back to the late 1700's, our cemetery has been the final resting place of people who were prominent in the early formation of the surrounding community. Stroll through our cemetery, and you will find such names as Hurff, Turner, Dilks, Atkinson, Chew, Fisler, and Early. And while we do not assist with genealogy research, you are welcome to come during our hours of operation to do a walk-through of the cemetery. Many people do.

Over 500 men and women from our country's armed forces are buried here as well. Each year, we honor the memory of those who are known to us by placing flags on their grave sites just prior to Memorial Day.

We continue to provide a large selection of well-maintained plots. Both upright and flat stone sites are available in sections throughout the cemetery. Cremains may be interred as well. Please call us at the number above to arrange a tour for pre-planning, or in your time of need.
