The Wired Word is a small group for adults that looks at what's happening in the world today, and Bible passages which help shape our reflections on these events. No workbooks, no homework, just insightful conversation. At your request, a short user-friendly study guide can be emailed to your inbox each week. Sundays, 11:30 a.m., September to May

 

Mini VBS - This year we're running a trial experince for ages 3 - 7, much like vacation bible school. 2nd Sunday of the month, 11:15 a.m. 

 

BREW - currently meets at Starbucks in the Mantua Township Target on the first Wednesday of every month at 7 p.m. for casual conversations about God and life.

 

Faith Quest is our interactive, multi-sensory Church School program for kids in Pre-K to 6th grade. Children experience the stories and teachings of the Bible in a way that is hands-on and engaging.Our workshop rotation style classes feature:

•Mini Movie Theater (Holywood)

•Cooking Class (Disciples' Deli)

•Games (Colisseum)

•Science Experiments (Signs and Wonders)

•Crafts (Creation Station)

•Storytelling and Drama (Tent Tales) 

Sundays, 11:30 a.m., September to May.

 

Faith Builders small group study is for those who want to dig a little deeper into the Bible. Using material from authors such as Adam Hamilton, Mike Slaughter, and other contemporary theologians, we reflect on some of life's toughest issues, explore new ways of studying and understanding the Bible, and support one another on our faith journeys. Wednesdays, 7:30 p.m., September to May.

 

Vacation Bible School: Every year, we offer Vacation Bible School for a week in June which is open to all children in Kindergarten through Jr. High. Our volunteers strive to provide an exciting, fun filled week which reinforces basic Christian principles through arts and crafts, outdoor activities, Bible storytelling, and interactive music. And, we provide a kid-friendly dinner each night, as well. It's a blast! Watch the home page for registration announcements.

 

New Members classes invite those who are new to Bethel or new to the United Methodist Church to explore our roots, understand why we do what we do, and discover how God is at work in the United Methodist Church locally and around the world. Seasonally.
